Passengers control the air flow. Installing a Ducted air-conditioning unit allows air-conditioned air to travel through the parcel shelves and to individual passenger service units (PSUs) giving passengers the option of opening or closing the vents above them. The entire unit can be mounted on the roof or as a split unit with the evaporator in the ceiling.
